orientation tour of the city which begins with a drive past the colonial heart
for a view of the Padang, Cricket Club, Parliament House, Supreme Court and City
Hall. The coach swings by Chinatown before heading for scenic Mount
Faber for a panoramic view of the city. Mount Faber offers excellent views
of Singapore harbour and offshore islands. Next are visits to a local handicraft
centre, the national Orchid garden within the serene, 52 hectares of

This tour to the far-flung areas
in the island gives an interesting insight to the life outside the city. the
tour starts with a visit to the Haw Par Villa, a theme park of Chinese mythology
with exhibits of legendary figurines. Ming Village, which produces hand-crafted
replicas of Chinese porcelain antiques, is next. The tour then proceeds to
Kranji Dam which is a historic landing spot for the Japanese Army during World
War II. Catch a clear view of the Johore Straits from here. Reflect on the
courage of the 20,000 allied soldiers who fought in World War II at the Kranji
War Memorial. Visit the Bright Hill Temple which is famous for its Chinese
crematorium and well-stocked turtle ponds. the last stop is Changi Chapel and
Museum, where you will visit the museum and a replica of the chapel used during
World War II.

The

Bird Park is an
